Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer

The monument to Christ the Redeemer is the largest and most famous Art Deco sculpture in the world. It began to be designed in 1921 and was developed by the Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa over 6 years of work. It was inaugurated on October 12, 1931 and is located in the Tijuca National Park, 710 meters above sea level, From there, visitors can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the city.
